The Morris Fire Department and EMS personnel were on scene shortly after a pickup truck struck four vehicles while traveling north on Illinois 47 then careened off the road and into Soaps Laundromat on the corner of High Street and Illinois 47. The Morris Police Department, Grundy County Sheriff's Department, and Illinois State Police were also on scene investigating.

A pickup truck traveling north on Illinois 47 in Morris crashed through the exterior wall of Soaps Laundromat and into the bathrooms. The driver of the pickup truck crashed into four other vehicles stopped at a red light at High Street and Illinois 47 before careening off the road and into the laundromat.

The pickup truck that careened into the exterior wall of Soaps Laundromat at the corner of High Street and Illinois 47 in Morris struck the bathrooms while a male occupant was inside. The male was able to get himself out of the bathroom and was taken to Morris Hospital. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.
